The 2018 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival happens in Durham, N.C., each spring.
For film and video makers, the festival is filled with great events that will help hone one’s craft.
The Speakeasy Conversations are a big part of staying on top of what’s relevant and meeting like-minded people during the film festival.
The Speakeasy Conversations are panel discussions with film industry pros, many of whom are filmmakers.
Whether you’re concentrating on documentaries or not, the discussions are filled with helpful information about what’s relevant in the industry today such as building audiences, sustainability for artists, and distribution.
What’s great about the conversations is that they’re free to attend, no tickets are required. If you can’t make it in person for some reason, you can follow the livestream or watch the videos later.
The Speakeasy Conversations happen on Friday and Saturday during the fest at the following times (see below). They’re held at The Durham Hotel at 315 E. Chapel Hill St. in Durham, N.C.
